HDTV can be defined as high-resolution digital television. H (high-resolution) combined with DTV (Dolby Digital surround sound). This has become the highest resolution of DTV standards.
Although there has been a lot of hype surrounding HDTV it has still not be adopted by many people. Those who follow technology or have friends that own a hdtv are able to realize the power behind this new television standard. Hdtv televisions are expensive now but with time they will become cheaper like all new things.
